We have a doe and her twin babies living in our yard. Apparently, the momma thinks our property is a safe haven. We get to see her feeding them sometimes. The fawns hide out in the tall grasses and wait for her to come back.We have had a lot of exciting things to watch around our place in this warm weather. We have watched a Great Egret on our neighbor's pond, in addition to the Great Blue Heron, Mallards and Canadian Geese we usually see. There are Western Meadowlark in our yard, a Black-Capped Chickadee family in our nesting box and Cedar Waxwings washing themselves in our pond fountain.Soon we will see how wild our puppy is. Ben thinks it is fun to hide out the puppy's crate. We bring home our new Border Collie puppy Saturday!
