Ben and I have been working in the east side of the yard, picking up limbs and logs from a downed tree. Ben was a 'big helper' filling the trailer destined for the burn pile. I would hand him a little twig and say, "Put it in there", and he would do it most of the time. He has had training when helping me fill the dryer with wet clothes. It warmed up to 44 degrees today and the yard work was a welcome event after a long winter. So, while it wasn't the fun game of "Pick-Up-Sticks" you would remember from your childhood, it was a pretty good time.
As a bonus, Ben found his blue ball which had blown down the hill during our windstorm and been stopped by the trailer.
